Experience the Logistics Chain – 2021 Edition (Digital)

The year 2021 presented its challenges, but at Experience the Logistics Chain, we mainly saw opportunities. Due to COVID-19 measures, a physical edition was not possible, but that didn’t mean we stood still. Instead, we brought the logistics sector to life digitally!

Experiencing Logistics from a Distance

To still provide students, pupils, and interested individuals with a valuable experience, the 2021 edition was fully facilitated online. Through an interactive online platform, participants were given a unique insight into the world of logistics and supply chain management. With live presentations, virtual tours, and interactive sessions with professionals, participants could experience the sector without being physically present.

Innovative Programme

Despite the digital setting, we ensured that the experience and content were just as inspiring and educational as in the physical editions. The programme consisted of:

• Virtual Company Visits – Leading logistics service providers opened their doors digitally and gave a behind-the-scenes look.
• Live Q&A Sessions with Logistics Professionals – Students could speak with experts and ask all their questions about career opportunities and developments in the sector during various breakout sessions.

Collaborating in a New Format

This edition proved that Experience the Logistics Chain is flexible and forward-thinking. Thanks to collaboration with companies, educational institutions, and sector organisations, we were able to make an impact even remotely. The positive feedback showed that a digital edition was not only an alternative but also opened new possibilities to reach a wider audience.

Looking Ahead

Although we missed the physical interaction, the digital edition of 2021 showed us that logistics can come to life online too. With this experience in mind, we look forward to future editions where we can combine the best of both worlds.
